Write-up experience in a public accounting firm and understanding of advanced bookkeeping concepts a must including knowledge of Quarterly Payroll Tax Return preparation, Sales Tax Returns, General Ledger and Financial Statement preparation as well as manual and computerized Bank Reconciliation.  Individual and corporate tax preparation experience preferred.

Write-up and tax preparation duties for various clientele present a wide variety of difficulty and client interaction.

Proficiency in computerized accounting software, WORD and EXCEL is a MUST.  Write-up software used is Creative Solutions Accounting software.  Lacerte is tax software. Knowledge and experience with these programs preferred.

Minimal audit work as well as minimal accounting services performed at clients site.  Majority of work performed in house including live payroll. Also prepared using CSA software.
 
Position will be built based on level of skill and fit into needs of company. 

Several opportunities and positions may be created dependent upon experience and skill offered by applicants.  Built-in bonus system compensates employees for both billable efficiency during 8-hour workday and all billable overtime.  No mandatory weekend work schedule during Tax Season.  Opportunity presents for employee to adjust work schedule during week to fulfill work demand during tax season.  We are a fully NON-smoking firm.

SENIOR LEVEL CPA
Tax Specialist w/ Write-up Supervision Responsibilities 
5-7+ years public accounting firm experience
  
We are looking for a licensed professional with minimum 5-7 years experience to assist in all areas of tax preparation; Individual, Corporate, Partnership, LLC's,  Fiduciary, Estate and Trust.  

We are seeking a senior level CPA proficient in tax preparation and planning, research and review including knowledge of specialized tax areas such as passive loss rules, 1031 exchange, depreciation election, contractor taxation issues and conversion from accrual basis records to cash basis tax reporting. 

Our firm specializes in individualized services for professionals and business owners and their closely held businesses.  Our services include tax preparation, tax and business planning, write-up and litigation support services.

Ability to share management and review of various write-up assignments a plus. 
Experience with accounting assignments re: medical practice and/or contractors field a plus.

We are looking for self-motivated and ambitious accountants with a CPA firm background.  Applicant should have the ability to effectively communicate with diverse clientele as well as office staff.  Knowledge of Word, Excel, Lacerte and Creative Solution Accounting software desired.  

Possible family law litigation expert and business valuation opportunities are available within firm.

CPA/FORENSIC ACCOUNTANT
for Litigation Support Position
with min. 5 years CPA firm experience 

Individual with 4 year accounting or finance degree to perform services regarding marital and family law cases including determination of cash flow for support purposes; tracing of income, assets and liabilities; dissolution issues; business valuation and community property allocation.

Appraisal experience in business or real estate a PLUS. Knowledge of methods of valuation a PLUS including comparable sales, excess earnings (Formula Method), "Rule of Thumb" multipliers and discounted cash flow method.  (Will train in these areas)

Licensing in any of the following areas a PLUS: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and CPA with ABV designation;  Certified Business Appraiser (CBA); Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA)

Applicant will work closely with clients and staff to perform services for dual clients as court appointed 730 evaluator or a hired expert by individual clients.  Interview, research and compilation as well as preparation of reports to be presented to clients and court require professionalism, strong multi-tasking skills, comfort with high pressure deadline situations and excellent writing skills.

Proficiency in computerized accounting software, WORD and EXCEL is a MUST. 

Courtroom testimony is not required however position will present opportunity.

Firm Description

Wiebe & Associates is a local busy public accounting firm providing clients from a variety of industries in the Inland Empire with typical write-up, tax and consulting services.  Additionally, the firm provides extensive litigation support services to the family court system.  Constant demand for our services insures staying busy year round.  While tax season adds stress and workload, our firm provides tax services to year round clients.  This allows us to not require weekend office hours even during tax season.  Our built in bonus system creates reward for billable production.

In addition to providing traditional accounting services since 1973, Greg Wiebe has provided litigation support services since 1985.  He has qualified as an expert witness in accounting, tax, cash flow and valuation matters in various Superior Courts throughout California.  The litigation support division of the firm has grown rapidly over the last 10 years and Mr. Wiebe has been appointed under evidence rule code 730 as an expert witness in numerous cases.
